This forest green field box may not be as durable as a mil-spec steel ammo can, but it’s still of high enough quality to keep your investment safe and fresh during long-term storage. The heavy-duty plastic resists becoming brittle under extreme temperatures and direct sunlight, and it’s easy to carry thanks to its folding handle. The lid even has a gasket which wards off corrosion from humidity!
A .50 cal field box’s exterior dimensions are approximately 12" x 6" x 7.5". With those dimensions you can reasonably expect to pack about 1,200 loose rounds of 223 Rem, 640 rounds of 308 Win or 2,200 rounds of good old 9mm.
