When I bought my bushmaster in 2008 I had the occasion to speak to a tech at the bushmaster factory. One of the questions I asked was what ammo I should feed my rifle. He informed me that they use PMC ammo to test fire the rifles at the factory. Have used PMC ever since with no feeding or problems of any kind.

I have used PMC for years and never once had an issue. I have probably burned over 10,000 rounds of both the 55 grain and the 62 grain. When I get bored I set spent rifle casings on the target and shoot at those. My wife has several of those casings on her nick nack mantle along with a couple of quarters with 3 shot groups clearly displayed on those quarters. The rifle casings have a single round through the casings as well. While my wife uses those for bragging purposes on how well her old man shoots, it is also a testimony to how accurate those 62 grain X-TACS really are. I would recommend this ammo to anyone who is really into shooting. You can't go wrong with the PMC.

Great ammo! The price is great and the customer service is great. Ordered on a Tuesday and got it the very next day. Awesome! I ordered the 62 grain for my Ruger Mini 14. This ammo(62 grain) is more accurate for my mini than 55 grain.

This ammo is military grade. I train with it. I qualify with it. I arm with it. It is very consistent and dependable. It feeds well through full autos with no ejection issues. When I bench shoot my Knights - you can catch all the brass in a bucket placed on the first casing. Consistency is a huge plus for me.

Great deal. Ammo pierces 1/4 inch steel plate at 25 yards, metal targets at 200 yards. We tried 1/2 inch steel plates at 25 yards and it didn't penetrate but bubbled the back side severely. Great shipping and service from this site.

Ordered and received 4 days later. Shipping went well. Ammo shoots clean and no failure to fire, failure to feed or any any other problems. With a 1:7 twist barrel you can't go wrong with the 62gr ammo. Don't understand the not good when the shtf comment. If it goes bang and groups 1" at 250 yards and shoots through the exterior she'll and the drum of a washing machine and leaves a dent on the other side of the washer shell, what else can you expect or want? I would recommend to buy and would buy more right now if I had the spare money.

This is great ammo , very accurate , reliable , flawless feeding and functioning .
My experience from my BCM 16" bbl , 1/7 twist , with the 62 gr X-tac green tip penetrators was an outstanding .750 ( yes ...3/4 inches ) 100 yard , 5 shot group , elevation of 800 ft on a cool spring day of 60 degrees Northern Michigan month of May. I am impressed with not only my shooting this day , but certainly the ammo did it's part.
I am buying more , and the shipping is always prompt .
Wish I had a chronograph to check the advertised velocities , from 16 in bbl ?? -

If you want to have good groupings then you gotta buy the right stuff. I use the Ruger AR-556 and the 62 grain penetrators. If I miss the bulls eye it ain't the gun or ammos fault. (LOL)

Same round we used to use in the military before we moved to the new copper tip bullet never seen a failure due to the round seen tens of thousands of these fired threw M4's, M16's, and M249 saws and my personal AR would definitely depend my life on these rounds.

Our Oathkeepers group used up 2,000 rounds of this ammo to evaluate it ... along with hree other manufacturere's brands. During our last FTX we had no complaints with PMC 62b grain and only witheld a perfect score, because we would like to see 20,000 rounds burned up first. The PMC 55 grain was the best price of those we tested, but we don't rate compare quality of ammo that we would not carry into battle... and the battle ammo is 62 grain. PMC 62 grain gets the best price award, and appears to be well on the way to the reliability award as well.

I pre-ordered this ammo, based on reviews read here. I have yet to shoot any--weather--but my shopping, customer service, shipping was first class---as is usual. I do business with folks I trust and your advice and help has always been good.
There---I put the curse on it---:)--don't disappoint me :).

The 5 counties of our OathKeepers group, burn up a lot of ammunition. While half our ammo is supplied by our own reloading teams, we otherwise buy PMC. It is made to military specifications, the quality brass is reloaded multiple times... and we believe in practicing with what we are stocked up on. PMC is great ammuition.

Our group has burned a bunch of this along with a bunch of the Lake City military stuff ds, and find this Nato grade ammo superior in looks, and in performance. Great Price and Great ammo. Our choice for combat shooting. This is not plinking ammo.

The price was right for the 62 grain ammo. I have shot the PMC 5.56 mm ammo before and liked the performance. No jams and the grouping were great at 100 yards. I would buy more in the future.

I DEFINITLY GIVE THIS AMMO AN EXCELLENT REVIEW, AND WOULD ALSO GIVE AMMO TO GO AN EXCELLENT REVIEW! FIRST OF ALL THIS AMMO HAS EXCELLENT PENETRATION AND ACCURACY!I FIRED SOME ON EXTREMELY HARD STEEL THAT WAS THIN, BUT VERY HARD, AND SOME THICKER, THAT WAS MEDIUM HARDNESS AND PUNCHED CLEAN PAPER PUNCH HOLS THROUGH THEM! THE THINNER TARGET DIDN,T EVEN MOVE AT ALL, I HAD THOUGHT THAT I WAS MISSING THE TARGET UNTIL I WENT TO TAKE A CLOSE LOOK AND HAD HIT IT SEVERAL TIMES. I ALSO ORDERED SOME .45 CAL AND SOME 9 MM FROM AMMO TO GO AND WAS SHOCKED THAT IT SHOWED UP THEY VERY NEXT MORNING WITH THEIR NORMAL SHIPPING FEE, NOT OVERNIGHT REQUESTED. AS FAR AS THE PENETRATOR AMMO, JUST WAITING FOR IT TO COME BACK DOWN IN PRICE FOR 1000 ROUNDS, WHICH IS WHAT IT WAS RIGHT BEFORE THE DAMN ATF ATTEMPTED TO LEGISLATE THAT IT WAS ILLEGAL, AND CAUSED THE AVAILABILITY TO DISAPPEAR AND THE PRICE WHEN IT WAS AVAILABLE TO BE COMPLETELY UNREASONABLE!I WILL DEFINITELY PURCHASE MORE!!!

Tried 3 types of .223/5.56mm from my Larue PredatOBR 18" 1/8 twist.
Prvi Partizan .223 HPBT 69 grain match
PMC 5.56mm Xtac 55 grain
PMC 5.56mm Xtac 62 grain
The PMC Xtac 62 grain provided the tightest shot group of the three at 100 yds; sub MOA.
Using an AR Black trigger and Lantac Dragon muzzle break.
So convincing of the performance, I had purchased 2000 rounds of them. -

This is definetely good ammo for the price. Thru the Ruger SR5.56 AR, these 62 grain penetrators does a 1" 5 shot group at a 100 yards. With the crappy AR trigger, l feel that to be pretty good grouping. I expect that to tighten up even more when my timney trigger arrives. But the 55 grain xtac only managed a 2 inch group at a 100 yards
