This may be the land of McDonalds, but we certainly have room in our hearts to embrace Makarovs as well. This Russian-made 9mm Makarov ammunition by Wolf will let you shoot all day on a dollar menu budget!

Wolf can boast such an awesome price tag by taking full advantage of steel. While brass is by far the best metal for shell casings owning to its superior ability to seal the action against carbon fouling and its repeated reloadability, steel still manages the job just fine. This round’s casing is coated in a thin layer of friction reducing polymer to support proper functionality in a semi-automatic, and its Berdan primer is non-corrosive to prevent harmful rusting.

Wolf’s bullet also contains steel, which replaces much of the jacket’s valuable copper to still effectively prevent deformation under high pressure. Some copper on the outside of the bimetal jacket serves to prevent rapid fouling, although at the end of the day this is still a magnetic bullet that some ranges may take issue with. But if you’re after a reliable and low-cost solution for plinking and target shooting, you’ve just found your case of ammo!

Please note that 9mm Makarov is significantly different from 9mm. This ammo won’t work in a Glock 17.
