It is said that every weapon is different regardless if of same design and make. I have two M and P 15's, one with a barrel twist of 1 and 8 and another with a 1 and 9. My 1 and 9 twist loves this stuff. My one and eight spits it back at me. And it seems not to burn so dirty and is a clean looking round and I inspected the rounds before I fired and every shooter should check ammunition for defects because it can happen to the best.
Let me explain the issue with my 1 and 8 twist that I had. I loaded 10 rounds
into a PROMAG 20 round mag. The first three rounds fired and then I had 2 rounds that misfired and the projectiles recessed into the cartridge. Then I had rounds that kept double feeding. I switched out to a PMAG 20 round, reloaded the remaining 10 rounds. I had one round that when it was loaded into the chamber, the bolt caught it midway and indented the cartridge to the point that it had to be taken out of service. I still had issues with double feeding. I fired ten remaining ten rounds.
Saturday, using the same PMAG 20 round MAG and the M and P with the 1 and 9 barrel twist, I loaded 20 rounds, fired and had one issue of a misfeed. reloaded that round, and it fired.

I would buy this again, but only for my second M & P.
