Probably the best all around .30-06 load. Some say it's overkill for deer, but I hunt in mountainous terrain. If a buck runs off, it may be necessary to drag him out of a deep canyon or steep ravine; my old joints and muscles aren't always up to the task. This load is the answer. Puts them down with authority, and unlike a magnum it's easy on the meat. I've used it on elk and some huge feral hogs, and it's stellar for both. I also have a friend who lives on the coast of Alaska and makes it his go to round for brown bear defense. It's quite accurate and the Core-Lokt bullets mushroom beautifully and stay together as well as so-called premium bullets for a fraction of the cost. Pick up a box or two. It may not become your go to load, but then again it might!

The Best Ammunition there is! I have been using Remington Core Lokt Bullets for 40 years in 30.06 and 300 Savage in 180 grain! Was good to find an outlet that carries 180 grain. Have been having trouble finding prior to Ammunition To Go! Will be buying more from you!

This is a premium load. The 180 grain load takes them down first shot. The impact is better than any other load. I have killed many deer and two elk with this same bullet. It is far about anything else on the market.

THIS IS THE BEST HUNTING AMMO PERIOD. IN THE SAME DAY I SHOT A WILD BOAR IN THE MORNING - HEART SHOT - AFTER SHOT HIT BOAR FELL NO KICKING OR ANYTHING! DEAD RIGHT THERE. IT DID NOT HAVE A GIGANTIC EXIT WOUND BUT THERE WAS PLENTY OF BLOOD ON THE GROUND. LATER THAT DAY AROUND DUSK I SHOT A DOE CENTER MASS RIGHT IN THE SHOULDER FROM 150 - 175 YARDS. SHE TOOK OFF FROM THE SHOCK AND I WAS WORRIED BECAUSE I WAS LOSING LIGHT FAST. WHEN I ARRIVED ON SCENE I FOUND A DARK BLOOD POOL WITH WHITE FOAM. I KNEW IT WAS A FATAL HEART LUNG SHOT, SO I STARTED TRACKING AND BLOOD TRAIL WAS EASY TO FIND AND FOUND HER ABOUT 30 YARDS FROM POINT OF IMPACT (TOUGH GIRL). WHEN I FOUND HER THERE WAS NICE EXIT WOUND ABOUT THREE INCHES WIDE WITH A PIECE OF HER HEART AND LUNG OUTSIDE OF HER BODY, WHICH TO ME WAS AMAZING BECAUSE I HAD NEVER SEEN THAT BEFORE, AND REALLY HELPED WITH THE BLOOD TRAIL IN THE THICK BRUSH. THESE BULLETS ARE ACCURATE AND I WILL NEVER USE ANYTHING ELSE. PERIOD. THANKS REMINGTON!

Took another Boar this season with a clear head shot at 80 yards. The Boar went down immediately and did not take another step, one shot, one kill. Why go with anything else, this is my Hunting Load period.

Very good ammo for the price. Took a 190 lb. Boar with one shot, hit it right behind the ear at 95 yards and it fell over where it stood, didn't even take one more step, kicked a few times and that was it. No need for more expensive Premium Ammo unless you just want to spend your money. Highly recommend for hunting after zeroing your rifle with it at the range.
