20rds - 357 Mag Heavy Buffalo Bore 125gr. Barnes XPB HP Ammo Details

This 357 Magnum cartridge by Buffalo Bore is a heavy hitter. Its exceptional power means that it demands to be fired from an all steel revolver or rifle, never a lightweight alloy one. That added power is just the ticket for breaking through tough hog hide, however, as is this round’s projectile: a 125 grain XPB by Barnes.

The XPB is an all-copper bullet, and accordingly one that’s not only acceptable for use for hunting in places like California, but furthermore able to retain the virtual entirety of its weight as it blasts through sinuous tissue and obstinate bone. This clean shooting lead-free bullet has a wide hollow point nose cavity that causes massive cavitation during penetration as well. Porky better have said his prayers.

Buffalo Bore specializes in making powerful cartridges, and they use factory fresh reloadable brass and non-corrosive primers to do it. The size of this round’s bullet necessitated that Buffalo Bore not use a flash suppressant powder, but the result is less pronounced if you fire it out of a rifle.
