A man can never have total control over his surroundings. But when he’s packing heat – 45 Colt +P heat – he expands his influence considerably.

This is overpressure ammunition: more powerful than standard. Grizzly Ammunition specifically recommends their heavy bear loads for all LARGE FRAME Ruger revolvers (Blackhawk, Super Blackhawk, Redhawk, Bisley, pre-2005 Vaquero), as well as all modern Model 1892 rifles, as wells as Winchester 1894 and Marlin1894 rifles. DO NOT fire this ammo in the (small frame) New Model Vaquero.

This hot load’s wide flat nose gas check bullet is designed for hunting deer, hog and bear (as well defense against the latter two). The WFNGC does not flatline game via terminal expansion. It does it via extreme penetration, plus more harmful wounding than an LRN or FMJ can manage. The gas check is just an extra piece of metal on the bullet’s base; it seals propellant gasses behind the bullet to promote more efficient ignition – the key to harder-hitting performance.
