Sellier & Bellot Ammunition 196 Grain Soft-Point Cutting Edge(SPCE) Ammo Details
It’s pretty common for a military caliber to win favor with the hunters for more peaceable endeavors. That the 8mm Mauser was one of the few rounds used by soldiers on both sides of the fight during WWII has made it popular for hunting deer worldwide. This round’s 196 grain soft point cutting edge bullet is great for medium-sized game. Its core isn’t bonded to its jacket, so it creates a clean entrance wound, penetrates deeply, and expands in a more controlled direction than your standard soft point could accomplish. Sellier & Bellot is a major producer of this type of hunting bullet, so you can trust them to make it right.
You can also trust a massive producer like Sellier & Bellot to give a rifle cartridge a consistent powder charge, clean-sparking primer, and first rate and reusable brass casing.

This works great on my 1938 k98 mauser. It hit dead center at 100 yards. At 200 yards it held a 1inch group. Very nice ammo. I would definitely buy it again!

I've shot this ammo through my Yugo Mauser and it kicks! It's fast, has a "cutting edge", soft point and a great heavy bullet. I find it a tad hard to control over the Hornady bthp. It's a powerful round and can take down big game and dangerous game, planet wide.

I have read a lot about this brand of 8mm ammo and decided to try it. The reviews were right. I had to rezero the scope due to the higher powder load but I shot tighter groups at 200 yards than I did before with Remington ammo.
