Manufactured by industry leader, Federal Cartridge Company, these Expanding Full Metal Jacket (EFMJ) rounds are ideal for law enforcement or civilian personal protection. Although these EFMJ projectiles look just like regular ball rounds, they actually produce terminal expansion similar to hollow points. EFMJ bullets have internal scoring that weakens the jacket at the nose and a two-part core. This unique, two-art core features a rubber fore section with a lead section bringing up the rear. Upon target impact, the jacket of the EFMJ ruptures along the scored lines and drives the rubber section rearward into the lead core, producing dramatic terminal expansion. Since there is no hollow cavity to clog, EFMJ rounds deliver reliable penetration and expansion, even through tough barriers like leather and heavy clothing. They also produce reliable feeding in a variety of handgun models.

This ammunition is non-corrosive, boxer primed, and features nickel-plated brass cases for easy low-light loading and reliable feeding and extraction.
