This is 9mm +P ammo. It is loaded to a higher pressure than standard, and can accordingly destroy firearms that aren’t designed for it. Make certain your 9mm pistol or carbine is +P rated before buying these cartridges.

This 9mm +P ammo isn’t designed for engaging the kinds of threats you might encounter on your way to 7/11. It’s meant to teach bears and hogs a thing or two about manners, and can be used for hunting medium game as well.

This overpressure round certainly boasts plenty of power. Once its 124 grain bullet clears a 4” barrel, it has just over 500 ft lbs of energy. That puts it on par with a weaker 357 Magnum round.

The full metal jacket flat point doesn’t deliver terminal expansion. That’s by design, as forgoing expansion leaves the bullet better able to penetrate dense body tissue. The FMJ FP’s broad tip is also effective at punching out clean (and harmful) hole.
