This shotshell is loaded with #9 shot: 0.08” diameter lead pellets that are widely favored for skeet shooting. Fiocchi’s chilled lead is extra hard, which is why this shell’s shot pellets remain spherical and retain their ability to pattern in narrow formation. This shell’s one-piece wad also serves to land more of those hard shot pellets right onto your target!

At 1-1/8 ounces, this round’s shot column contains approximately 658 individual shot pellets. That’s a thick spread no matter which way you slice it. But because its muzzle velocity is relatively tepid at 1,165 fps – and because its wad is cushioned – this shell will treat your shoulder to quite mild recoil.
