This shell is loaded with 7/8 ounces of #8 lead shot. The .09” diameter pellets have the power needed to dependably drop smaller upland game, but will keep trophies intact from a reasonable range as well. Remington’s spherical lead shot is nice and hard, so it will resist deformation during ignition in order to deliver the accurate spread you need to drop fast-moving targets. This shell’s 1,225 fps muzzle velocity provides the oomph required to strike such targets as well.
