Hornady Ammunition 135 Grain Jacketed Hollow-Point (JHP) Ammo Details

Designed to deliver the ultimate in barrier penetration, this Hornady Critical Duty 9x19 ammunition features tough patented FlexLock bullets. Weighing in at 135 grains, these proprietary projectiles incorporate two revolutionary Hornady features. The first is the special Flex Tip, a flexible polymer tip designed to prevent hollow point clogging and aid in terminal expansion. The second is a large mechanical jacket-to-core InterLock band. This unique system works to prevent jacket/core separation for maximum weight retention. The result of this high-performance design is consistent penetration and terminal performance through all FBI test barriers.

Perfect for defense applications whether on duty or off, each new production cartridge is loaded with low flash propellants to help preserve precious night vision. Alos, featuring bright nickel-plated brass cases, this ammo offers high visibility for easy loading and chamber checks, even in low light conditions.

Leaving the muzzle at a velocity of 1010 feet per second, each round delivers 306 foot pounds of muzzle energy.

This is the best self-defense ammo just because the higher grain than the critical defense gives you the advantage of stopping power threw car doors windows etc just the perfect round that works well for all brands of firearms
