25rds – 9mm +P Inceptor 65gr. ARX Ammo Details
This 9mm +P round features a remarkably lightweight bullet. That’s because it is an ARX, which is injection molded out of Inceptor’s proprietary mixture of copper and high-tensile strength nylon. The ARX is therefore able to achieve a muzzle velocity far greater than what its caliber usually dictates, even for a +P, and maintains a flatter trajectory downrange. The light ARX creates very little recoil as it does this, making it optimal for a self-defense scenario where rapid follow-up shots are so crucial.At a glance, many people think the ARX’s unique grooves give it greater accuracy, but they’re in fact there to give the bullet stopping power as effective as a hollow point’s -- or even greater. The three grooves are formed in such a way that they channel and direct soft tissues outward during penetration. That the streams jet out at a speed as fast as double that of the ARX itself means this bullet creates simply massive cavitation. The ARX feeds without a snag, as its lack of a hollow point nose cavity lets it behave like a normal round nose bullet would in a magazine fed firearm.
