Federal Ammunition 150 Grain Soft-Point (SP) Ammo Details

Each load utilizes a 150-grain soft point projectile with a blunt nose, sleek ogive, and copper jacket of uniform measurement all the way around. A toothed cannelure helps to keep the bullet firmly crimped into a reloadable Boxer primed brass casing. During entry into a target, the cannelure helps control the bullet's rate of expansion so that it can easily defeat thick layers of bone before stopping in vital areas. This effectively transfers energy to a deer's critical organs in order to bring it down quickly.
