500rds – 22 LR CCI Quiet 40gr. LRN Ammo Details
Are you sick and tired of the earth-shattering kaboom that ensues every time you fire a 22 LR cartridge? Then we’ve got good news! With this clever little cartridge from CCI’s Quiet line of ammunition, you won’t even need hearing protection when you shoot -- its 710 fps muzzle velocity only produces about 75 percent of the report that a comparable full-power 22 LR would. That makes this round a great choice for plinking where some overly sensitive bystander might object to you having fun, such as a family reunion plagued by a dear, respected elder that happens to be anti-gun. It’s also a fine way to introduce youngsters to shooting when any kind of loud noise or recoil might have turned them off of the sport. Please bear in mind that because this round is sort of wanting in the power department, it won’t give a semi-automatic the oomph it needs to cycle correctly. It’s great for a single shot bolt action rifle, though, as well as a revolver.

Awesome price one these, a lot of places were out of stock so I was happy to find this site. Shipping speed was INSANE. Never had something arrive so fast.
Anyway, I knew these wouldn't cycle in a semi auto, like most people should know there isn't enough powder for it to cycle. But I bought it knowing it was quiet ammo I can plink around with my 10/22. I'm very happy, will be back for sure -

Like Scooter Pop I tried this ammo with two suppressors, a Gemtech and a Yankee Hill on a Beretta and Rugger pistols and also on a 10-22 and marlin. It FAILED to cycle on any of them. I have always been a CCI fan but on this one they fell short. I was excited to find CCI subsonic however i will stick with Remington subsonic which i have never had a cycling problem

I have purchased quite a few of these,2 bricks of 500 so far,and a few 50 rounds boxes, from different local retailers. AmmoToGo has the best price I've found,so far.I use it in most of my .22's now, except for the autoloaders (Ruger Bearcat,Henry lever,Ruger American rimfire,...I even went so far as to buy a special bolt, from VQ,called a FireFly,which allows it to actually cycle,in a 10/22...i have it installed in my Charger now..works great)

I shoot them thru my mk3 22/45 lite & M&P AR 15/22 with suppressor and no problems. I haven't tried my Ruger 10/22 yet.

Bought them for my .22 revolvers, but since I had them I tried them in my GSG Stg44 replica. They cycle just fine.

Great ammo. Bought it for shooting ground squirrels as they are just hard to kill with a pellet gun and I did not want the noise. They do not cycle in my AR but I knew that up front. Definitely recommend. Also, best price I could find was Ammo To Go and shipping was "right now".

Works great in my Walther with suppressor and cycles just fine. Actually cycles better with a suppressor, assume it's bc of the back pressure suppressor creates

This is my GO TO ammo for squirrel hunting. Works perfect.....good accuracy. I use a bolt action single shot.I don't need a semi auto for squirrels, they don't attack.

Realize this is not likely to cycle in any semi-auto.
That should be obvious.
In my pump and bolt .22s it's superb, accurate, quite,
and deadly on squirrels with head shots. -

Good round...I find it laughable that these guys who are so distraught that it wont cycle a semi with a suppressor...duh...less powder...maybe that is I see results with my bolt action...

These rounds are perfect for plinking or paper targets without having to deal with hearing protection. They are exceptionally quiet and make pleasant conversation while shooting a reality. CCI makes very good quality ammo and these are no exception. CCI notes that these are not made to cycle semi autos and with a muzzle velocity just over 700fps people should be aware of the ballistic trade offs. They work just fine in bolt guns and if you need speedier followup shots then perhaps a good lever action is in your future. These are perfect if you have hoplophobic neighbors or are attempting to interest Generation Snowflake in the shooting sports.

CCI makes quality ammo, no question. However, these rounds would not cycle in my 10/22, consistent with other reviews. My buddy tried running them through his suppressed 22/45, and they wouldn't cycle in that firearm either. They are very quiet however. Doubt I will buy these particular rounds again, but I will definitely buy other CCI products.

Ammo did what it said. It probably won't cycle through your auto though.

Great for being quiet through my Supressed Ruger 10/22 and semi auto Supressed pistol.
However, it FAILED TO CYCLE in either weapon.
