Fiocchi’s 44 Magnum ammunition does it all! This ammo’s simple bullets won’t make you dread firing it during target practice, but they’re also designed to serve up the violent terminal ballistics you want whether there’s a threat or a critter in your sights!This cartridge is rigged out with a 240 grain semi-jacketed hollow point. The SJHP’s partial jacket serves to reduce lead fouling of the barrel, and it also keeps the bullet from tearing itself to pieces during high-velocity impact. But because its jacket leaves the SJHP’s soft lead core bare around its nose cavity, it allows wider expansion while the bullet is traveling with less momentum behind it.
Even if the SJHP retains too little energy to commence terminal expansion, its blunt nose profile inflicts a deadlier wound channel than a regular round nose FMJ or LRN could have. The flat nose bullet is A-OK for lever guns as well!
Fiocchi’s ammo doesn’t contain any steel. That means nonmagnetic bullets that you’re allowed to fire at any public or private range, as well as factory fresh brass cases that you can trust to feed and extract like clockwork. Non-corrosive and reloadable!
