This cartridge features a 38 grain projectile. Its bullet is five percent lighter than what its caliber typically calls for, which along with its propellant charge gives this round a whopping 1,235 fps muzzle velocity. The resulting flat trajectory is complemented nicely by the lead bullet’s uniform weight distribution and symmetrical round nose meplat. You’ll have the accuracy to satisfyingly plink and take out varmints alike, and a lead bullet’s ability to deform during penetration will help you nicely along the way with the latter. This round creates only very little fouling with each shot, and its brass casing is carefully drawn to avoid jamming.
