Nosler Defense Bonded Performance bullets are engineered with the same technology as Nosler’s famous AccuBond line.

Each of these .40 Smith & Wesson cartridges is loaded with a 200 grain bonded Performance jacketed hollow point projectile. These bullets are designed with a tapered jacket and specially engineered lead alloy core to produce reliable expansion and deep penetration. The jacket and core are bonded using a proprietary process that eliminates core/jacket separation for maximum weight retention and reliable barrier penetration, making these loads ideal for personal protection.

Leaving the muzzle at a velocity of 1050 feet per second, each round generates 490 foot pounds of muzzle energy. This ammunition is boxer primed and loaded with high-performance powder charges in reloadable Nosler brass cases. Every round of Nosler Defense ammunition is visually inspected before it leaves the plant, ensuring quality and reliability. Each box contains 20 factory fresh rounds.
