AE has always been my go to target ball ammo. Crisp and clean shooting comes close ballistically POA/POI similar to most carry loads in 380 and 9. Consistent.

Flat nose fmj ammo creates a wider wound channel than round nose. Flat nose fmj is less likely to veer away from a straight path is tissue than is round nose. (This is particularly true in "sub" calibers. 22lr, 25acp, 32acp and 380acp round nose are very likely to veer off straight in tissue.) As a result flat nose fmj has a much better match up of shot placement to wound placement. My only complaint with Winchester is somewhat anemic loading.

I’ve been a big fan of federal for a long time. The police department I was with used Hydro Shok rounds in our carry guns. The HST seems to be a refinement of that round. Good price for a 50 round box even with shipping. I put a magazine’s worth through each of my 1911’s they fed perfectly and printed just a little higher than my practice rounds.
