45 WIN MAG

The 45 Winchester Magnum (aka 45 Win Mag) shares nearly identical dimensions to the 45 NAACO: a cartridge developed for – but never adopted by – the Canadian Army. The 45 Win Mag may be regarded as a lengthened and more powerful version of the 45 ACP, so long as you take care not to fire it in a 45 ACP pistol (or a 45 Colt firearm, for that matter). The 45 Win Mag is hardly extraordinarily popular, although target shooters and varmint hunters are both warding off its obsolescence.
