455 WEBLEY
The 455 Webley (aka 455 Eley, or 455 Colt) is a .45 cal revolver cartridge that was developed in Great Britain toward the end of the 19th century. Several iterations were sequentially introduced: Mk I (265 grain LRN bullet); Mk II (identical to Mk I, except loaded with cordite instead of black powder); Mk III (218 grain hollow point bullet); Mk IV (220 grain wadcutter bullet); Mk V (identical to Mk IV, except with harder, higher-antimony bullet); and Mk VI (265 grain FMJ bullet). Fiocchi currently offers a modern smokeless propellant version of the Mk II.
