9mm STEYR
The 9mm Steyr (aka 9x23mm Steyr) is not to be confused with the popular 9mm round (or the less popular 9mm Largo). It entered production in 1911 – a year when ammo was in extremely high demand – and served as the standard pistol cartridge for most branches of the Austrian-Hungarian military during the Great War. Its performance is comparable to that of the 38 ACP, and is normally loaded with a 115 grain full metal jacket.
