100rds - 22 LR Winchester 45gr. CPRN Ammo Details
If you want to get the most noise reduction out of your rimfire suppressor, you have to use subsonic ammo. Subsonic rounds do not produce the distinctive "crack" of a bullet crossing the sound barrier and help keep your gun's report to a minimum. This .22 LR ammo from Winchester is the perfect example of such a load.
These cartridges fire 45-grain copper plated round nose bullets at a muzzle velocity of 1,090 feet per second. This is a relatively heavy bullet fired at a velocity that is slightly below the speed of sound. This ammo can be used in both semi-automatic and manual action rifles and handguns. The copper plating serves to reduce fouling and lead exposure.
Winchester M 22 rimfire ammunition is loaded in Oxford, Mississippi using rimfire primed brass cases. Winchester has been in the firearms and ammo business since the 19th century; although the company's famous guns are now produced by licensees, the company continues to load its own ammo.
