20rds – 35 Rem Hornady LEVERevolution 200gr. FTX Ammo Details

This 35 Rem cartridge is from Hornady’s LEVERevolution line of ammunition, and as such is a perfect selection for your lever action rifle. Its 200 grain FTX bullet’s tip absorbs shock while it’s loaded in a tubular magazine, so it’s unable to strike the primer on the round in front of it. It’s a bad time for everyone when that happens -- especially for yourself if you’ve got your rifle slung over your back!

The FTX’s soft tip compresses within its high antimony lead core upon impact, creating rapid expansion and a wide wound channel that’s certain to drop rugged game fast. The bullet’s ability to expand is complemented by its InterLock ring, which binds is core and heavy jacket together during penetration for virtually perfect weight retention. This is an accurate bullet as well, owing both to its streamlined secant ogive profile and the superior concentricity of its jacket. “Ten bullets in the same hole” -- that is Hornady’s motto, after all!

35 Remington is hard to find. Love the polymer tip and 200 grain weight. Flies farther than the old round nose rounds, but still able to stay true through brush. Makes the cowboy rifle and contender happy. 35 Remington hits hard.

I just found this website. Not only are they cheaper than Midway and cheaper than dirt its a Texas company. I now live in Tennessee, but I'm a seventh generation Texan. Good to know that that there is actually a company giving the customer what they want at a better price, received my order in 2 days from when I placed it. Absolutely astonishing. I deleted midway and cheaper than dirt from my favorites list. And now this is my go too. Also I can't believe they have 35 Remington. That's like finding dinosaur teeth nowadays. Thank you for a great company so far. I'm definitely with you for the long run.

I've been pursuing Whitetails since I was 12 years old. Now at age 67 I can attest to the effectiveness of .35 caliber chambered rifles. I hunt with lever and pump action carbines chambered to the .35 Remington, pump and bolt guns in .358 Winchester, bolt guns chambered in .35 Whelen, and one bolt gun in .350 Remington Magnum. I've taken deer with Hornady Flex Tip bullets in both factory loads and handloads in my .35 Remington chambered lever and pump action hunting arms. I've also taken 20 plus deer with my .358 Win chambered rifles. The last seven or eight deer taken have been shot with the 200 grain FTX bullet. Even at the increased velocity of the .358 Win @ 2500 fps the bullets always exited and from all signs, no breakup has occurred. The 35 caliber 200 grain Hornady FTX is one accurate and deadly bullet!!!!!
