500rds – 5.56x45 Black Hills 77gr. OTM Ammo Details

You’re not the kind of guy who just likes to hit his target. You’re not the kind of guy who just likes to group his shots closer together than the pimples on a flea’s backside. You’re the kind of guy who likes to march all of his bullets through a single hole at the dead center of a bullseye. That’s why you’re the kind of guy who’ll truly appreciate Black Hills Ammunition’s match-grade 5.56x45!

This round showcases any precision fiend’s best friend: the 77 grain open tip match. So long as your barrel’s rate of twist is 1:8” or faster, you’ll be able to take full advantage of so heavy a bullet’s resistance to wind drift. And so long as you don’t mistake the OTM for a projectile that’s designed for terminal expansion, you’ll be able to fully appreciate the sleek, balanced, and extremely accurate bullet’s outstandingly predictable ballistic performance.

This round’s OTM wears a toothed cannelure that keeps it securely planted in the mouth of a reloadable new brass case. The case is undeniably grayish around its shoulder, but not because it was previously fired and reloaded. All 5.56 cases become discolored when they are strengthened via heat treatment; military-grade 5.56 cases just aren’t polished up afterward, because the manufacturers want to prove their cases were processed correctly.
