50rds – 40 S&W Winchester Ranger 155gr. JHP Ammo
Winchester Ammunition 155 Grain Jacketed Hollow-Point (JHP) Ammo Details
Let the 9mm vs. 45 ACP vs. 40 S&W debate rage on for a thousand years – at the end of the day, they’re all good for self-defense. If you yourself prefer the 40, then you’ll find that Winchester’s Ranger ammo fully satisfies your expectations for your everyday carry’s performance! This cartridge is loaded with a 155 grain JHP – not Winchester’s T-Series bullet, but rather a non-silver version of the Silvertip. This JHP’s jacket is engineered to ensure smooth functionality in any semi-automatic firearm, as well as deliver a deep and wide wound channel. This is a bullet that consistently bores 12” deep into bare ballistic gel, and which also increases in width until it is approximately the same diameter as a dime.
This is law enforcement grade ammo that Winchester only occasionally releases to the civilian market. Its new production brass cases are precision drawn and cut to support unproblematic feeding and extraction in a mag-fed pistol, and its non-corrosive primers light up clean-burning powder to minimize residue buildup.
