Lightfield Ammunition Corporation perfected the sabot slug design while engineering rounds for the US Marine Corps. The same patented technology that went into their military munitions designs were incorporated into their slugs for civilian big game hunters. The Lightfield Hybred EXP has amazing inflight ballistics allowing for consistent accuracy to 150 yards and beyond and enough energy retention to take down even the toughest and largest North American game animals.

This package contains 5 rounds of Lightfield Hybred EXP 12 gauge ammunition. Each 2 ¾ inch shotgun shell is loaded with a 1 1/4 oz (546 grain) hourglass-shaped, 99 percent pure lead slug. These slugs leave the muzzle at an impressive velocity of 1450 feet per second with 2549 foot pounds of hard-hitting energy.

These powerful and effective Lightfield slugs incorporate a post wad with a double spring design that acts like a wedge to expand the wad outward. This allows the sabot to perfectly fit any rifled or smoothbore shotgun barrel. Use these loads to increase the long-range accuracy and terminal energy of any shotgun.
