218 BEE
The 218 Bee is a .22 cal varmint hunting cartridge introduced by Winchester in 1937. It falls between the weaker 22 Hornet and the more powerful 223 Rem in terms of effective range. A 35 grain bullet will give you a flat trajectory at short-to-mid range. A heavier 40, 45 or 50 grain bullet will still exhibit a satisfactorily flat trajectory, albeit one that is less vulnerable to wind deflection. Use a V-MAX or hollow point bullet for busting varmints and you’ll be all set.
