25 WSSM

The 25 Winchester Super Short Magnum (aka 25 WSSM) is a quarter bore round capable of bagging all medium American game: deer, boar, sheep, you name it. It is essentially a necked up 243 WSSM, with similar ballistics to the 25-06 – albeit with a shorter (and squatter) case. Look for a 75 grain bullet if you're varmint hunting, or a 100+ grain projectile when deer are a part of your plans.
