.25-20 WINCHESTER
The 25-20 Winchester (aka 25-20 WCF; not to be confused with the 25-20 Single Shot) was developed for the Winchester Model 1892 lever-action rifle during the late 19th century. It was used to harvest the United States’ second highest-scoring typical whitetail back in 1914, although it is no longer very popular for taking medium game. Modern factory loaded 25-20 WCF is typically loaded to antique-friendly lower pressures and primarily favored by varmint hunters.
