376 STEYR

The 376 Steyr is essentially a 9.3x64mm Brenneke that was necked up to seat a .375 cal projectile (it is named “376” to prevent confusion with the 375 H&H Magnum). It is a scout rifle concept cartridge: designed around comfortable portability instead of long-range accuracy or pure firepower. Even so, the 376 Steyr is quite a potent round, with a 210 to 300 grain bullet and a muzzle energy that can easily exceed 4,000 ft lbs.
