470 Nitro Express

The 470 Nitro Express was designed to make short work of Africa’s biggest brutes, including the plotting Cape buffalo and the stomping elephant. It’s still a popular hunting round for African large game, albeit not an inexpensive one. Expect a 2,150 fps muzzle velocity out of a 24” barrel when you fire the 470 Nitro’s 500 grain bullet – as well as ferocious recoil.
