7x30 WATERS

The 7-30 Waters (aka 7x30 Waters) is a lever-action rifle cartridge that was developed relatively recently during the 1970s. Its lighter bullet is intended to achieve a higher velocity and deliver a flatter trajectory than its parent cartridge, the 30-30 Win. Did the 7-30 Waters dethrone its forebear? Not by a long shot, although you can still find the niche cartridge thanks to Hornady and Federal.
