9.3x72R Ammo
The 9.3x72mmR is most often fired in drillings: break-action rifles with three barrels, the remainder of which are chambered for 12 Gauge shotgun shells. The round’s straight, rimmed case usually seats a bullet that weighs 193 or 200 grains. Its ~2,000 fps muzzle velocity gives the bullet ballistic performance roughly comparable to that of the 35 Whelen, as well as terminal ballistics which can pummel a bear into quick submission.
