Winchester manages the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant on behalf of the U.S. government. This is the same exact 12 Gauge ammo they would produce for combat applications. But instead of Uncle Sam, they specifically made this ammo for us – the people!

We wouldn’t want to find ourselves on the wrong end of this shell. Its nine pellets of 00 buckshot cruise out of the barrel at a velocity of 1,325 fps, which makes the shell quite the opposite of “low recoil.” It patterns with great efficiency, too, as its plastic grex buffering effectively protects the shot pellets from becoming misshapen and flying off in separate directions.

This ammo is reloadable and noncorrosive. Its OD green hulls indicate its military pedigree, and its high steel heads (which are dark because they are anodized) promote reliable functionality in semi-automatics and non-semis alike. Order a case and give it a college try, but be careful! If an Army recruiter sees you firing this ammo, he might just start explaining how you can earn enough money to buy a muscle car.
